A MR Christmas

So Christmas has come and gone.  And I am tired.  I mean WORE OUT, don’t even want to look at the time because I might have to do something tired.  And this morning my oh so wonderful Momma, looked at my blog and was ashamed that I hadn’t posted in so long a time.  Especially since I love Christmas.  And she is not exactly what you would call blog savvy.  So here I am feeling guilty.  I do have a lot of things I’m planning for 2011 for myself and for MommaResa, not to mention a whole other project I’m going to really start focusing on a little more.  So basically here is me, posting a little something something to get yall through until 1/1/11.

Good Christmas Morning, Cat

Uncle Billiam in his Santa Pants & Chair

Baby Boy rockin his Milano Face, and Unwrapper Bib.

So I personally thought this shot was amazing! CAT & My Cousin LA

Christmas Lunch was really the most exciting, well picture wise anyway.  Because I didn't get my camera until like the last couple of presents.  But I did get a camera. So now I will stop complaining (maybe).
Merry Belated Christmas, and Happy New Year.

PS- I will be posting before December 31st.  I WILL! Hopefully.

Oh Christmas Tree

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree.  How I love thee..

I sure do love Christmas.  And my sister is like the BOMB at decorating, for someone who has NO formal education on it.  For the last couple of Christmases we’ve focused on a teal and silver theme. It seems to suit us pretty well.

And I’m all about themes.  I was more about them before I had kids, because I want to be able to put they’re school creations on a Christmas tree while they’re growing up, and put them all together so I can give them a box of ornaments when they get all grown and leave me. I’m not sure whether I want that to happen, right now it’s a lot to think about. I mean she’s ONLY 2, and it’s ONLY her third Christmas.

But right now, at this age. I don’t love Christmas trees, or Christmas decorations, or anything. Because Cat is being a huge disobedient toddler.  I keep praying for February to come.  I heard that once they actually reach pass the 2 years and 6 months age that it gets better.  That they stop throwing tantrums (Which I get a weekly fill of) and they start to level out a little. I sure hope that’s the case, because I just wanna shoot myself some days.

Ok so I’m a little sporadic tonight.  One day I’m going to really let my mind just flow and post it.  I think you all might be amused.

PS- What do you LOVE about the holidays?  And what did you loose awe at after having kids?

Christmas Cards, Say What?!

A little get to know Momma Resa time, I know exciting right?

So my mom is the youngest of eight. Yes EIGHT children, my grandma was crazy fertile like someone else we all know (yeah, so I’m embarrassed by my fertility).  Anyhow, six of her older siblings are around.

And they all have kids. So guess who has to order lots of Christmas cards, especially this year.

And I’ve decided that this year, we’re going to do something new and different. (Besides actually mailing them out ).  We’re going to order our holiday/Christmas cards from Shutterfly.  So now I just have to figure out the pictures and the cards.  My card choices include but are not limited to the following (because Shutterfly has about 75 bajillion cute ones to choose from!)...

So after we decide, we have to pick the pictures, and then order.  My goal is to finish deciding by Friday.

But here's the good news right now they are offering free shipping on orders of more than $30 (Enter Code SHIP30). Plus, the holiday cards are 20% off now.  So go, decide, and order cards from Shutterfly!

(This post was partially sponsored? inspired by Shutterfly.  However my the views and opinions are all my own.  And I really am ordering pictures. Haha!)
