We're Growing!

And not in a way that my family would ever expect.

It totally happened on accident.  We were busy inside doing Halloweeny things

Like Dressing Kids

And it was past time for Trick Or Treating to begin, so I stuck a pumpkin outside to tell the kids to knock cause we had candy to hand out!  And then we went to the church's Trunk or Treat, and had dinner. And we got on with our lives.

Randomly we'd look at the forgotten pumpkin and say Someone needs to take that pumpkin out to the trash. Or If we're not careful we're going to have our own pumpkin patch.

And we'd promise to take care of it before the next trash day.  And so it went on for the last 7 and a half months... but now.

Now we're growing... That's right...

We're growing a pumpkin. At least one pumpkin, because I caught this little bloom on the vine.

Punkin Patch and Then Some

Over the weekend we went and picked us out some punkins.
Here be our Lil Family
Now there's just ONE problem with that picture... I'm not sure if you can tell or not, so I'll point it out to you.

See it?? DO YOU SEE IT??
Its a BIG freaking BLURRY SPOT! And its on my face and my moms face in EVERY PICTURE taken on Saturday.  I called it God's Thumb, because its like someone's finger is just randomly in the way and since its obviously not one of ours.. it must be God's.  Anyhow the rest of the picture is all beautimus and can be sharpened and look good.. but not my face (which of course is the biggest).  My face is all blurry.  I might have thought that it was just my shirt and pale-ness.  But its also in my mom's pictures with BB.
So Idk what that's all about...
Mom and I decided it was my Aunt Linda (her oldest sister who passed away a couple years ago) trying to be a part of our experience.

ALSO over the weekend we made cookies.  Now Cat's cookie decorating experience went like this...
Trying to ice her pumpkin cookie with the orange icing.

Trying to ice her pumpkin cookie AGAIN with the icing.. look at the Focus

And this is the point where she gave up on icing the damn cookies
and just decided to eat the icing.

And I don't blame her.  I wanted to give up on icing the DAMN cookies after my 5634908th Cookie!  And so I took a few minutes to make some fun cookies after all of the more serious cookie decorators (my sister & mom {theyre anal retentive about their dessert decor}) left the kitchen...

So the middle picture is actually my sister's cookie stack.  But I liked the picture. So I added it. :)

So enjoy the non-calorie laden pictures of these sugar cookies and royal icing.

PS- These cookies happened 2 days AFTER I started the new MR Diet.  Poop
PPS- I was still able to loose weight, I think it has something to do with icing about 3 BAJILLION cookies and not wanting to see another one for about 36 hours (probably longer if you're skinnier)
PPSS- Im not sure what to put here, but I thought it needed something to round it out.

Weekend Round Up

Well I’d planned on coming up with some kind of a post over the weekend but stuff happens.  And we got busy.

My sister and I picked up a new cake cookbook.  We’re going to try one of those recipe/ideas this month.  We’re just not sure which ones.  But I’ll definitely be commandeering her camera and posting some pictures of the project.
Costumes were picked up this weekend.  Cat will be Tinkerbell  and BB is going to be a dog.  BB is going to be a dog because while we were in the hospital after he was born his cries sounded like a puppy’s whimpers.  And to this day randomly he will make the puppy noises.  So, of course, it’s only fitting that he be a puppy for Halloween.

Sar and I also got a wild hair up our butts (I’m not even sure how to fix that, we each had a hair up the butt I suppose, because sharing one would be awkward).  We decided that we were going to make Cat a tutu.  So we got some WILD looking tulle and some elastic. So that’s on the agenda to be made this week.

Annnnnd I got my own (singularly unique) hair up my butt and decided to make Cat a treat bag for Halloween to go with the Tinkerbell theme.  So that project will be done at some point this month.  But I’m excited.  I enjoy my little nesting spurts.

Onto other things, I do believe I should get back to what this blog was also supposed to include, which would be diet and exercise info from myself.  ((I know.  Exciting, right? Who doesn’t wanna talk about someone else’s struggle with weight?)) But it’s too late I’ve already decided and committed myself to it.

I will be posting  a ((hopefully)) Before picture and stats either tonight or tomorrow.  And will update weekly.  I’m using this as an accountability standard.  Because I suck unless someone is counting on me.  So you’re officially counting on me.  Even if you’re not.
